World of Warcraft Upgrades
Upgrades are parts that can be incorporated into equipment to provide various bonuses. They range from stat boosts to increased proc chances of amazing equip effects.
The upgrade system for items is different from the system you're familiar with in other MMORPGs. This guide will cover the basics of how it works along with some tips and tricks.
Rerolling
When visiting an upgrader for items the player can upgrade items such as trinkets, armor, and weapons that are above the level 9. These NPCs are located by searching the map or by talking to the vendor. When you upgrade an item it becomes stronger and gains new bonuses. It can take a lot of time to gather the materials needed to upgrade an item, but the rewards are worth it.
An upgrade to a gear requires a specific amount of Power Dices, Minerals and Erons to complete. Power Dices are available through the scavenging process or from the NPCs that upgrade items. They are dropped by monsters that reside in zones that are higher than level 21. Minerals and Erons can be gathered through crafting, or purchased from the NPCs who upgrade items. The upgrade process can erase any previous upgrades, but the items that resulted can be used.
A player can roll upgrade items after they have reached the number they need to get different bonus stats. This is not a guarantee however it can help decrease the chance of spending funds or resources on poor upgrades. The item upgrader NPC is located in Central Flarine.
The upgrade pity, introduced as part of the 2.6.0 gear rework, decreases the huge variance in upgrading luck. This means that players have a greater chance of obtaining the item they want to evolve by spinning a Pokestop.
You can reroll an upgrade by pressing the green button that has arrows circling. The rerolling option only applies to upgrades that are not currently equipped by any units, but does not apply to the original item from which the upgrade came.

Sets

It can also be employed with other collections, such as lists or tuples. The intersection method is a method of comparing two sets and keeps only the items that are common in both. It can also be combined with other methods, like the & operator.
A tuple, or list, is a type of collection that allows duplicate values. Sets differ from other types of collection because they do not allow duplicate members. They are used to represent data lists. Using sets to represent a list can save lots of space, especially when working with large datasets. Sets are easy to program and allow you to do advanced maths using Python.
When upgrading an item set piece of equipment, you can gain extra stats if all the pieces are at level 10. This is the best method to get extra stats out of your gear. You will have to upgrade your equipment.
The most common way to show a list of elements is through the roster notation. In this format the elements are enclosed within curly brackets and separated by commas. This format can be applied to any type of list. However item upgrades in which the elements in a list is not important.

However, if a player wants to keep the old item but upgrade it to the level of the new upgrade they can simply replace it by eating the Harmony Shard and re-acquiring it.
Buy
The process of purchasing an upgrade for an item also known as "upping", refers to the process of adding a level to any equippable gear. This includes armor and weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools that have an upgrade slot. This is done by spending the appropriate currency at an upgrader NPC. Upgrade components can be inserted into these items to give an attribute bonus and additional effects while the equipment is in use.
Upgrades that have been inserted into the item can be replaced, however they cannot be removed until the item has been destroyed or recovered with the Black Lion Salvage Kit (or higher-tier item recovery tools). Glyphs inserted into gathering tools can be removed and replaced at any time.
A player can recycle their other equipment to purchase six upgrade components. Recycled items give a certain number of levels to the gauge for upgrading an item and the amount will increase when the item is valued more.
